ForgeBill Terms of Use
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of ForgeBill's mobile app, web app, websites, quote and approval pages, work-order and completion pages, invoice and payment pages, subscriptions, reminders, reports, exports, archives, and related services.
1. Service Description
ForgeBill helps business users create quotes, request approvals, manage work orders, collect completion sign-off, attach job photos, collect signatures, create direct invoices, generate PDFs and reports, send invoice emails and reminders, configure payment links, export records, and retain records in Cloud Archive. Some features may require a paid subscription, internet access, provider availability, or successful third-party account configuration.
2. Business Use
ForgeBill is intended for business users who are at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of every quote, work order, job photo, signature request, invoice, payment request, reminder, receipt, message, and client record you create or send through ForgeBill. You must have authority to upload photos and request or rely on an approval or signature.
3. Your Data
You retain ownership of quotes, work orders, invoices, client records, business profile information, logos, notes, job photos, signatures, files, payment records, reminder schedules, reports, and other content you enter into ForgeBill. You grant ForgeBill a limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, store, display, and use that data only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, and work with service providers that support those purposes.
Approval and signature records may include approval timestamps, signing timestamps, IP addresses, user-agent information, document hashes, and related evidence. These records help preserve what was presented and recorded, but ForgeBill does not provide legal advice or guarantee that any electronic record will be enforceable in every jurisdiction or circumstance.
4. Payments and Billing
Online invoice payment features are provided through Stripe-hosted payment flows and related Stripe services. Subscriptions may be billed through Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or another checkout provider as disclosed at purchase. If a business selects the client-fee option, checkout adds a separate 0.5% ForgeBill fee; selecting No ForgeBill fee adds no ForgeBill fee. Stripe processing fees may still be deducted from the business's payout.
5. Email and Reminder Messaging
ForgeBill supports invoice emails, receipt emails, and email reminders. You are responsible for ensuring that recipient contact information is accurate, current, lawfully obtained, and used in compliance with applicable law.
6. Account Deletion and Retention
You can export available account data from Settings. After paid access expires, ForgeBill may provide a 90-day read-only and export grace period before eligible cloud data is removed under the applicable retention process. The grace period does not extend paid creation or sending features. You can request account deletion from Settings or by contacting support@forgebill.com. Account deletion removes active account data subject to limited retention where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup integrity, tax/accounting records, payment disputes, chargebacks, provider requirements, or enforcement of these Terms.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party services, which may include Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, storage, push notifications, backend infrastructure, and operational logging; SendGrid for email delivery; Stripe for payment flows; Apple for iOS in-app purchases; Google Play for Android billing; and PostHog for first-party product events and product analytics.
