What to put on a handyman invoice
- A minimum charge, since drive time often exceeds the work itself
- Labor at an hourly or half-day rate
- Materials, usually bought per job rather than kept in stock
- Trips to the hardware store, which are real cost and easy to leave unbilled
Notes worth adding to a handyman invoice
- A clear list of tasks completed, matched to what was approved
- Materials with the receipts total, if you pass costs through
